Are they good for flights?

They are comfortable for long wear, but open-fit noise cancellation cannot match a sealed in-ear design. For flights specifically, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC at OMR 22.900 or the HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i at OMR 29.900 will block more.

Does the case charge wirelessly?

Yes — the case supports Qi wireless charging, which is unusual in our earbuds range. Wired charging takes about 40 minutes; wireless takes around four hours.

How long does the battery last?

Five hours from the buds with ANC off and 3.5 hours with it on, or 30 and 20 hours respectively with the case. That is shorter than Huawei's cheaper in-ear models, which is the trade for the open-fit design.

Are the FreeBuds 5 in-ear or open-fit?

Open-fit. They rest at the entrance to the ear rather than sealing into the canal with a silicone tip, which is more comfortable for long wear and lets you hear your surroundings.

How much are the HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 in Oman?

The HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 are OMR 58.700 at Playphone Oman, reduced from OMR 70.000. Sealed, 100% original, 12-month warranty and free delivery across Oman.

What does the warranty cover?

Twelve months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover physical or accidental damage, liquid damage, software problems or normal battery wear. Keep the original invoice and make sure the serial or IMEI matches our records — Playphone handles the claim with the authorised supplier on your behalf.

How long does delivery take in Oman?

Delivery is free anywhere in Oman. Inside Muscat it is typically 2 to 3 business days, with dispatch within 48 hours on items held in stock. You can also collect from our Ruwi or Salalah store, usually the same day when the item is on the shelf.

Is this product original?

Yes. Every HUAWEI FreeBuds 5 we sell is brand new, factory sealed and 100% original. Playphone does not stock refurbished, pre-owned or grey-market units. You can check the serial or IMEI on the sealed box against the device before you accept delivery, and the same number is recorded on your invoice.
