Can I use it for schoolwork?

For reading, note-taking and Microsoft Office, yes. If a school requires Google Classroom or Google Docs apps specifically, this is the wrong device.

About 255 grams, and 5.1mm thick — lighter than the iPad mini despite the larger screen.

MatePad Mini or iPad mini (A17 Pro)?

The MatePad Mini is OMR 7 less with a larger OLED screen, 256GB instead of 128GB, 12GB of RAM and a lighter body. The iPad mini has the full app ecosystem. Choose on software, because the hardware comparison is not close.

Does the Huawei MatePad Mini have Google Play?

No. It runs HarmonyOS with Huawei's AppGallery. Most major apps have an equivalent there, but Google's own apps — Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Drive — are not available as apps, only through the browser.

How much is the Huawei MatePad Mini in Oman?

The Huawei MatePad Mini with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is OMR 218.000 at Playphone Oman, reduced from OMR 240.000. Sealed, 100% original and delivered free anywhere in Oman.

What warranty applies?

The Huawei MatePad Mini is covered by the manufacturer's warranty policy rather than a fixed Playphone term — that is how Playphone's warranty policy treats smartwatches, tablets and other gadgets. For most major brands that is twelve months against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, but the manufacturer's terms govern. Keep your original Playphone invoice and make sure the serial number matches our records; we process the claim with the authorised supplier on your behalf. Physical damage, liquid damage and normal battery wear are not covered.

How long does delivery take in Oman?

Delivery is free anywhere in Oman. Inside Muscat it is typically 2 to 3 business days, with dispatch within 48 hours on items held in stock. You can also collect from our Ruwi or Salalah store, usually the same day when the item is on the shelf.

Is this product original?

Yes. Every Huawei MatePad Mini we sell is brand new, factory sealed and 100% original. Playphone does not stock refurbished, pre-owned or grey-market units. You can check the serial or IMEI on the sealed box against the device before you accept delivery, and the same number is recorded on your invoice.
