What does the 12-month warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use, for twelve months from the invoice date. Excluded: physical and accidental damage, liquid damage, software problems and normal battery wear. Playphone acts as your facilitator with the authorised supplier — bring the original invoice and we handle it.

Is this phone brand new or refurbished?

Brand new and factory sealed. Playphone does not sell refurbished or pre-owned stock. Check the IMEI on the sealed box against the handset on delivery; the same IMEI goes on your invoice and is what we use for any warranty claim.

Does the iPhone 17 Pro have a SIM card slot?

No. It is dual eSIM with no physical SIM tray. Omantel and Ooredoo both issue eSIM profiles in Oman, so a local line is straightforward — we activate it in store before you leave. Plan ahead if you normally buy physical tourist SIMs when travelling.

Is the iPhone 17 Pro worth it over the standard iPhone 17?

The Pro gives you the A19 Pro chip instead of the A19, and the 48MP Pro camera system. Both have the same 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display and the same 18MP front camera. If you edit video, shoot a lot, or keep phones for four or more years, the Pro earns the difference. For everyday use, the iPhone 17 is the better value.

What is the Japan variant of the iPhone 17 Pro?

It is a unit manufactured for the Japanese market rather than the Middle East. The hardware and our 12-month warranty are the same; the pricing differs because the source market does. Some buyers specifically look for Japan variants, which is why we list the region openly on every product rather than hiding it.

How much is the iPhone 17 Pro in Oman?

The iPhone 17 Pro 1TB is OMR 574.900 at Playphone Oman, reduced from OMR 630.000. That is a sealed, 100% original unit with a 12-month warranty and free delivery across Oman. We stock 256GB, 512GB and 1TB configurations, priced separately.
