What does the warranty cover?

Twelve months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover physical or accidental damage, liquid damage, software problems or normal battery wear. Keep the original invoice and make sure the serial or IMEI matches our records — Playphone handles the claim with the authorised supplier on your behalf.

How long does delivery take in Oman?

Delivery is free anywhere in Oman. Inside Muscat it is typically 2 to 3 business days, with dispatch within 48 hours on items held in stock. You can also collect from our Ruwi or Salalah store, usually the same day when the item is on the shelf.

Is this product original?

Yes. Every iPhone 18 Pro we sell is brand new, factory sealed and 100% original. Playphone does not stock refurbished, pre-owned or grey-market units. You can check the serial or IMEI on the sealed box against the device before you accept delivery, and the same number is recorded on your invoice.

Will an Apple warranty from another country cover me here?

Apple's own terms say it may restrict warranty service for iPhone to the country where the device was originally sold, so do not rely on an international Apple warranty. What you have with us is a 12-month Playphone warranty against manufacturing defects, handled in Oman with your invoice.

What comes in the box?

The phone with iOS 27 and a one-metre USB-C charge cable. There is no power adapter and no earphones. We stock 60W adapters if you need the fast-charging figure Apple quotes.

Is the iPhone 18 Pro waterproof?

It is rated IP68 — up to 6 metres for 30 minutes under IEC standard 60529. That covers rain, a dropped phone in the pool and a wet kitchen. It does not make it a diving camera, and liquid damage is not covered by any warranty.

What does the variable aperture do?

It changes how much light the main camera takes in, across f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0. Wide open is for low light and for a softly blurred background; closed down keeps more of the frame sharp. It is the first iPhone to offer the choice.

What is the difference between the Middle East and Japan versions?

The hardware and the Playphone warranty are the same. Apple's Japan specification additionally lists FeliCa for Japanese transit cards, which has no use here. Apple also notes that the camera shutter sound cannot be muted in some countries and regions — worth checking in store if that matters to you. The price differs because the source market does, and we always show the region on the listing.

Does the iPhone 18 Pro have a SIM card slot?

No. Both the Middle East and the Japan versions are dual eSIM with no physical tray. Omantel and Ooredoo issue eSIM profiles in Oman, and we can set your line up in store before you leave.

How much is the iPhone 18 Pro in Oman?
