What does the warranty cover?

Twelve months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover physical or accidental damage, liquid damage, software problems or normal battery wear. Keep the original invoice and make sure the serial or IMEI matches our records — Playphone handles the claim with the authorised supplier on your behalf.

How long does delivery take in Oman?

Delivery is free anywhere in Oman. Inside Muscat it is typically 2 to 3 business days, with dispatch within 48 hours on items held in stock. You can also collect from our Ruwi or Salalah store, usually the same day when the item is on the shelf.

Is this product original?

Yes. Every Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G we sell is brand new, factory sealed and 100% original. Playphone does not stock refurbished, pre-owned or grey-market units. You can check the serial or IMEI on the sealed box against the device before you accept delivery, and the same number is recorded on your invoice.

Is there a headphone jack?

Xiaomi does not list a 3.5mm jack for this model, so plan on USB-C or Bluetooth. The phone has dual speakers and an infrared blaster for controlling a television or air conditioner.

Which is better, the Note 17 Pro or the Pro Max?

The Pro Max adds a faster Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, 10,000mAh with 100W charging, 4K video, a 32MP front camera, a brighter f/1.56 main lens and UFS 4.1 storage, for about thirty-two rials more at 256GB. The Pro matches it on the screen and on every IP rating, and is 6.5g lighter. If video and charging speed matter, take the Pro Max; if durability and price do, the Pro is the value in the range.

Does it have a memory card slot?

No. The Note 17 Pro is dual SIM — two nano SIMs, or one nano SIM and an eSIM — with no microSD slot. Choose your storage tier accordingly.

How fast does it charge?

67W HyperCharge, which Xiaomi rates at 34 minutes to 50% on the 8,340mAh silicon-carbon battery. It also does up to 22.5W wired reverse charging for earbuds or another phone.

Can it record 4K video?

No. Xiaomi lists video recording at up to 1080p at 30fps on the Note 17 Pro. The Note 17 Pro Max is the model that records 4K at 30fps.

How tough is the Redmi Note 17 Pro?

It carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust and water ratings, Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and a 3-metre drop resistance that Xiaomi says is SGS certified onto granite. That is the strongest combination in the Note 17 range. Accidental and liquid damage remain outside warranty cover.

How much is the Redmi Note 17 Pro in Oman?

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G 6GB/128GB is OMR 119.900 at Playphone Oman, reduced from OMR 130.000. Sealed, 100% original, with a 12-month warranty and free delivery anywhere in Oman. We price the 128GB and 256GB versions separately.
