What does the warranty cover?

Twelve months from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover physical or accidental damage, liquid damage, software problems or normal battery wear. Keep the original invoice and make sure the serial or IMEI matches our records — Playphone handles the claim with the authorised supplier on your behalf.

How long does delivery take in Oman?

Delivery is free anywhere in Oman. Inside Muscat it is typically 2 to 3 business days, with dispatch within 48 hours on items held in stock. You can also collect from our Ruwi or Salalah store, usually the same day when the item is on the shelf.

Is this product original?

Yes. Every Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G we sell is brand new, factory sealed and 100% original. Playphone does not stock refurbished, pre-owned or grey-market units. You can check the serial or IMEI on the sealed box against the device before you accept delivery, and the same number is recorded on your invoice.

Note 17 Pro Max or the vivo V70?

The V70 costs more and gives you a 50MP 3x optical telephoto camera, a 50MP autofocus front camera, and a written commitment to four Android generations and six years of security updates. The Pro Max gives you almost twice the battery, 100W charging and IP69K. Buy the V70 for photography and software support; buy the Pro Max for battery, charging and durability.

Does it take a memory card?

No. It is dual SIM with support for two nano SIMs, a nano SIM plus an eSIM, or two eSIMs, and there is no microSD slot.

229.5g, and 163.44 x 78.27 x 8.65mm — 8.57mm in Cloud Blush. That is heavy for a phone, which is the trade for the battery. Try one in our Ruwi or Salalah store before you commit.

What does the Cloud Blush colour do in sunlight?

It is photochromic. Xiaomi says it changes from cloud white to a warm pink-orange in sunlight and returns to white indoors. That finish is also 0.08mm thinner than the others.

It carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, which cover dust, immersion and high-pressure hot water jets, plus Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an SGS-certified 3-metre drop rating. Liquid damage is still not covered by any warranty.

Can the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max record 4K video?

Yes, 4K at 30fps. It is the only Note 17 model that can — the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro both cap at 1080p 30fps.

Is the battery really 10,000mAh?

Yes — Xiaomi lists 10,000mAh typical, using a silicon-carbon cell, with 100W HyperCharge and 27W wired reverse charging. Xiaomi's own figures are 10 minutes of charging for up to 7 hours of video and 15 minutes for up to 10 hours.
