To ensure full transparency and a seamless online shopping experience, our Return & Refund Policy is designed in strict alignment with the Sultanate of Oman Consumer Protection Law and global digital commerce advertising standards.

1. Return & Exchange Window

Customers across Oman can request a return, exchange, or refund within 15 days from the exact date they receive or take delivery of their order. Once 15 days have passed since delivery, items are no longer eligible for a standard retail return or exchange and will fall strictly under our 12-Month Official Warranty Policy.

2. Return Conditions & Item State

To pass standard evaluation for a return, the product must meet the specific criteria outlined below based on its functional and physical condition:

A. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Dead on Arrival - DOA)

If you receive a mobile device or accessory that has an out-of-the-box manufacturing defect, hardware malfunction, is physically damaged upon delivery, or is not the exact model you ordered:

You are fully eligible for a Full Refund or Direct Exchange within the 15-day window.

All defect claims are subject to a standard technical inspection by the Playphone service team or the authorized brand service center to officially verify the hardware issue before final approval.

B. Non-Defective Items / Change of Mind (Strictly Unopened Only)

We understand that plans can change. For non-defective mobile devices, smartwatches, or accessories:

Unopened / Factory-Sealed Items: Can be returned or exchanged for a full refund within 15 days, provided the manufacturer's outer shrink-wrap, security stickers, or box seals are completely unbroken, clean, and intact.

Opened Box Items: Due to the nature of mobile electronics, any device that has been unsealed, opened, powered on, or software-registered cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind. If the packaging has minor soiling, scratches, or is opened, it cannot be accepted for return or exchange unless a physical manufacturing defect is officially verified.

C. Absolute Return Requirements

Items must be returned with original packaging, accessories, manuals, free gifts, and vouchers received at the time of purchase.

An Original Sales Invoice is required. If it is not available, the customer must provide the order number and registered mobile number.

Products with incomplete packaging, damage, scratches, or missing parts/accessories will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping & Logistics Costs

In compliance with Google Merchant Center's billing and transparency policies, Playphone applies the following structured rules regarding logistical fees:

For Defective or Incorrect Orders: Playphone covers 100% of the return courier costs. If a return pickup is arranged by our logistics team or domestic delivery partners, the customer will face No Cost (Free Return Shipping).

For Change of Mind Returns (Strictly Unopened Box): The customer is responsible for covering the direct shipping fee or courier dispatch charges back to our designated operational outlet.

Restocking Fees: Playphone does not charge any restocking or handling fees for returns. Items are either accepted for a full refund (if completely factory-sealed or verified defective) or rejected if opened for change of mind.

5. Refund Processing Timelines

Once your returned item is received at our outlet and successfully passes our technical assessment:

We will send you an automated confirmation notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved Refunds: Will be credited back to your original method of payment (Credit/Debit Card, online payment gateway, or authorized Bank Transfer).

Timelines: Card refunds typically take 7 to 14 business days to reflect in your bank account, depending entirely on your banking institution's standard settlement cycle in Oman. Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

6. Data & Software Disclaimer

Before handing over any mobile phone, tablet, or smartwatch for an inspection or return, the customer is solely responsible for backing up all personal data, removing security passcodes, and signing out of personal accounts (such as iCloud, Google, or Samsung accounts). Playphone is not liable for any personal data loss or secondary inconveniences during the diagnostic or return process.
